Welcome to the Air Quality Management in Asia & IUAPPA Regional Conference 2023 (AQMA23), hosted by the Clean Air Forum Society of Malaysia (MyCAS) with the collaboration of the International Union of Air Pollution Prevention and Environmental Protection Associations (IUAPPA). It is an honour to have you join us for this important gathering, where we will discuss the critical issues of sustainable air quality management and climate change and their impact on our health, communities, and the planet.
MyCAS is a Malaysia national non-governmental organisation designated to address air quality issues at the global and national levels, and its mandate is to lead the national mission for better air quality. We are committed to strengthening capacity building by actively engaging experts with stakeholders in all air quality-related activities.
This year's conference theme, "Sustainable Air Quality Management & Climate Change: A Resilient Recovery Post Covid-19 in Asia," is particularly relevant as we emerge from the global pandemic and look towards a more sustainable future. The conference will bring together experts and leaders from various industries to share their insights and knowledge on the latest advancements in sustainable air quality management and to discuss ways to build a resilient recovery after the Covid-19 pandemic.
Throughout the conference, we will hear from science, engineering, policy, and business experts, who will share their experiences and best practices in addressing these critical issues. We will also have interactive sessions, where attendees can engage in discussions and share their thoughts and ideas, as well as opportunities for networking with colleagues from around the region.

Welcome Message from President IUAPPA
Dear attendees of the 16th IUAPPA Regional Conference,
It is my great pleasure to welcome all the participants to this important gathering hosted by the Clean Air Forum Society of Malaysia (MyCAS). I am honored to represent the International Union of Air Pollution Prevention and Environmental Protection Associations (IUAPPA) as its President.
The theme of this year's conference, "Sustainable Air Quality Management & Climate Change: A Resilient Recovery After Covid-19 in Asia," is timely and relevant as we face the ongoing challenges posed by the global pandemic and work towards a more sustainable future. I am proud to see many experts, leaders, and stakeholders from various industries come together to share their insights, knowledge, and best practices on the critical issues of sustainable air quality management and climate change.
IUAPPA is a global organization that brings together air pollution prevention and environmental protection associations worldwide to promote cooperation, exchange of information, and sharing of best practices in air pollution control and environmental protection. Our goal is to improve air quality and protect the environment by promoting cooperation and collaboration among our member organizations and stakeholders.
At this conference, we will have the opportunity to hear from science, engineering, policy, and business experts, who will share their experiences and best practices in addressing these critical issues. We will also have interactive sessions where attendees can engage in discussions, share their thoughts and ideas, and network with colleagues from around the region.
